  1. How do I know it's high-quality Oud and not an imitation?

    Authentic Oud is recognized by its density and its reaction to heat. Our Tigre Selection features dark veins of real resin that you can see with the naked eye.

    If you want the ultimate test, put a splinter in a glass of water: because it is saturated with resin it will tend to sink (Sinking Grade), while common wood floats. When you put it on charcoal, you will see the resin boil and bubble intensely: that is the "liquid gold" being released.

  2. How long will the 20g or 50g container last me?

    You'll be surprised at how much it yields. As a pure resin concentrate, you don't need to burn large pieces. A splinter the size of a grain of rice is enough to perfume a 30 m² room.

    The fragrance is so potent that you don't need to replenish it constantly: the 20g format is designed to last for weeks even with regular use.

  3. What's the secret to making the scent last longer?

    The trick experts use is heat management. Don't place the wood directly on red-hot coals: wait for a thin layer of ash to form on top or use a mica plate. This lowers the temperature and allows the resin to sublimate slowly, instead of burning up all at once.

    To make the aroma last all day, waft the smoke near textiles (curtains, sofas, or clothes): natural fibers trap the oud molecules and keep the fragrance alive for up to 24 hours.

  4. I'm a beginner, is it hard to burn out?

    It is a very simple ritual that only takes 2 minutes. You only need a burner (mabkhara) and a charcoal tablet.

    Once the charcoal is incandescent and covered by a light ash, place your chip on top. The white, balsamic smoke will immediately begin to emanate. It is an intuitive and deeply relaxing process.

    We source our Oud directly from trusted suppliers in Southeast Asia, specifically from the Aquilaria Crassna species (Vietnam). We look for batches with a specific resin pattern and a maturation that guarantees that characteristic sweet and balsamic aroma.

    Each batch undergoes manual quality control in our workshop in Andalusia before being packaged for you.
